You've all seen the Oscar Meyer wiener mobiles, whether it was in real life, in the newspaper, on TV, or perhaps even on Youtube. If you haven't, then just Google (or Bing, for all you 'Softie fans) it and you'll see one in all its glory. But, have you ever seen a pig mobile? If not, now you have. This taco truck turned portable pig purveyor is oinking around downtown Seattle near the sports arenas because what better edible is there other than a pulled pork sandwich when you're sitting on your large can watching a 5 hour ball game? Oops...did I say that out loud? Nope. I didn't think so.So, when you're downtown wandering around and you see the Maximus/Minimus pork bus, and you decide to grab a delectible pulled pork sandwich, or an onion and fennel sandwich for all you brain-damaged hippie vegan types, and you're utterly and completely baffeled about what kind of wine to drink with your pulled pork - think Zin! That's right. Zinfindel is the perfect wine to drink with BBQ. Oh I suppose all of you non-wine drinkers (you know who you are!) are thinking that a cold beer sounds like the better match with pork sandwiches but don't knock it until you try it! Zinfindels are an earthy wine. Earthy wines equal food loving wines. Also, they're typically slightly higher in alcohol than other reds so they can stand up to spicy meats. They have wonderful flavors of dark berries, anise, and pepper, depending on where the grapes are grown, of course. Go with the red Zins, if you're not familiar with this varietal. Avoid the white Zins, unless you're a sissy girl.

Box wines to wine with sugar pops to pork mobiles, I think the Wine goddess has gone off of the deep end. Nonetheless, all are enjoyable.
